Patent Inspiration
After reading this instructable the author states that he drew his inspiration from a patent that he saw online which got me thinking about new ways to get help designing a project, I came up with this site, Google Patents, it is really in depth and informative!

DIY Circuit creation
This is a very good tutorial on how to etch your own DIY circuit board, I might have to try this for some of my projects! Hopefully I will get more prototyping materials soon like perforated boards, and a good third hand, soon!

Goals
Right now I am looking at building something like this Mini LED Projector. Hopefully my version will be a bit smaller and with all the parts integrated inside the case and a bit more discrete (the lens sticks out quite far). Also I have a lot of speakers lying around dying to be used in something. Ipod integration would be another biggie, using the link in the previous post about the pins and how to retrieve video and audio information. So right now here are my main goals:
1. Discrete packaging and lens
2. Speakers in product case
3. Ipod integration

No Night Vision
I have decided to abort the night vision project for three reasons:
1. It costs to much for a decent camera and lcd and for the hookup of the two.
2. A phone camera and lcd (that I have) would work fine anyways, just need some IR leds and I am good to go.
3. Far too complex and time consuming to complete! When an easier (&cheaper!) solution is so obvious.
Researching it gave some good insights, doing the mini projector project would be a fun experiment to do though. Maybe with some research I may be able to come up with some sort of setup for a mini projector!

Infrared camera DIY
Getting inspiration from YOUTUBE I would like to experiment and see how much those lcd's are and see about cameras and size and what not.
Ipod control
Using Apple Accessory Protocol - nuxx.net and Apple iPod and iPhone (2g, 3g) Dock Interfaces pinout and wiring @ pinouts.ru I plan to create a jacket that has headphones installed in it and buttons on the hoodie to control the ipod.
Project area
This will be my place to post my projects, ideas, and schematics possibly other things that I find interesting.
